On Friday, February 13, the Plan 2040 Community Center was officially inaugurated in Cuatro Ciénegas, Coahuila.
In the presence of Secretary of Education Emanuel Garza and the Council for the Integral Development of Cuatro Ciénegas — chaired by Alfonso and Maricarmen González — the doors opened to a space designed for long-term family support.
The Community Center was built by Qualfon, the founding partner of Plan 2040. This moment marks more than a ribbon cutting: it represents years of steady commitment becoming something tangible.
The center includes activity rooms, a health area, an educational space, and a media classroom dedicated to tutoring and student support. The media classroom was donated by Fundación Únete. On the same day of the opening, nine additional classrooms were inaugurated and fully equipped in partnership with Plan 2040, allowing all public schools in Cuatro Ciénegas to celebrate this milestone.
The opening was filled with gratitude and shared commitment from local leaders, partners, donors, and the Qualfon family, whose support has been foundational from the beginning. Now, the real work continues inside these walls. Thank you for making this possible.
